About Tanya Zuckerbrot, MS, RD

Tanya Zuckerbrot, MS, RD, is an internationally-known Registered Dietitian and the creator of the renowned F-Factor™ Diet, which provides a liberating approach to weight loss and optimal health that is based on scientifically proven fiber-rich nutrition. Tanya has worked in private practice in Manhattan for more than 20 years. F-Factor Diet evolved from Tanya’s early work with patients to help lower cholesterol and control diabetes, as she discovered that prescribing her patients to follow a lifestyle diet rich in dietary fiber, they not only all improved their clinical conditions – but also lost weight without hunger. Tanya is the author of two bestselling weight loss books: The F-Factor Diet: Discover the Secret to Permanent Weight Loss (2006, G.P Putnam & Sons), and The Miracle Carb Diet: Make Calories and Fat Disappear – with Fiber! (2012, Hyperion). After 10 years, she will be releasing a new long-awaited edition of The F-Factor Diet in April 2018 that will include updates to the overall diet, as well as new research and studies, along with new recipes. In addition to working with private clients, including celebrities such as Megyn Kelly and Olivia Culpo, media personalities, and business and government leaders, Tanya is a lecturer, consultant, spokesperson and national media personality. In 2018, Tanya was selected as one of the New York Business Journal’s Women of Influence honorees. She is on the Advisory Board of Women’s Health magazine, the Official Dietitian to the Miss Universe Organization (advising the reigning Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA), and is a Brand Ambassador for the Saks Fifth Avenue. Tanya has also lectured for NBC Studios, The Discovery Network, Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, G&E and Estee Lauder. She holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University and completed a two-year dietetic internship at NYU Medical Center. She is an accredited member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Greater New York Dietetic Association and a member of the National Association of Professional Women. Tanya completed her CDR Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management as well as her CDR Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management. Tanya serves on the Medical Advisory Board of Sharsheret, a Jewish breast cancer organization, and is a board member of Wizo Women’s International Zionist Org and an AIPAC committee member. She also volunteers at The Unitarian Church of All Souls in New York City, All Soul’s soup kitchen, which is focused on serving those in need full, nutritious meals. Tanya lives in Manhattan with her husband, their children, and twin cockapoos, Henry and Hudson.
