  • 2 fresh pears
  • ½ cup low sugar dark chocolate 
  • ¼ cup chopped raw walnuts
  • Wax paper
DIRECTIONS

Instructions

  1. Slice fresh, washed pears into quarters. Remove the core and seeds.
  2. Melt the low sugar dark chocolate over low heat. Stir frequently until smooth and then remove from heat.
  3. Dip each pear slice into the melted chocolate, rotating for an even coating.
  4. Dip the chocolate-covered side of the pear slice into the chopped walnuts and roll so that the walnuts are evenly covering the chocolate.
  5. Place each slide onto wax paper and refrigerate for one hour or until chocolate hardens.
